Metro County Connect is a demand/response, origin- to-destination transportation service available to individuals throughout Kalamazoo County.  

On Nov. 2, 2009, the Care-A-Van and Metro Van programs were merged to become Metro County Connect.  This service provides demand/response rides to individuals who live within three-quarters of a mile of a Metro Transit line haul route and are unable to access the large buses. This service is guaranteed under the Americans with Disabilities Act.

 Metro County Connect also provides demand/response service to Kalamazoo County citizens living outside of the Metro Transit line haul service area.

 There are reduced fares for seniors, and individuals with disabilities.
