Fixed-Route Bus Service

The fixed-route bus system utilizes 20 routes to serve the Kalamazoo County urbanized area and serves the following jurisdictions:

•City of Kalamazoo

•City of Portage

•City of Parchment

•Comstock Township

•Kalamazoo Township

•Oshtemo Township

•Texas Township

The fixed-run sysytem is operated by Kalamazoo Metro Transit.  For line haul route information, click here.  Service runs Monday through Saturday from 6 am to 10:15 pm.  The base fare is $1.50 per ride, view the full fare structure here. 

The chart below depicts ridership on the fixed-route system as well as Western Michigan University student ridership (please not that WMU ridership is included in the total fixed-route ridership).
